About This Security and Privacy Statement
The following statement is the Global Recognition Inc. privacy policy that has been revised and will be available on our client sites for viewing by purchasers and redemption recipients alike.
Introduction
Global Recognition Inc. is a privately held corporation. The following describes the privacy policy (as amended or changed from time to time and technological needs change and upgrades are available for integration within our system, this policy hereby known as the “Privacy Policy”) and is applicable to the services provided through Global Recognition Inc. Certain services which you may access on the Site may be provided by third party partners, and the protection of your information relating to such services will be governed by the privacy policy of such third party (See “Sharing Your Personal Data-Certain Services” below). Our Commitment to Your Privacy and the Privacy of any on-line Recipient
We value your trust in us and will work hard to earn your confidence so that you can enthusiastically use our services and recommend us to others.
Information We Collect
We collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) for order processing about our on-line reclamation visitors and purchasers that is specifically and voluntarily provided to us while using the Site or uploaded via a contractual agreement with specific clientele programs. Personal Data includes information that can identify a specific individual, such as name, address number, credit card or e-mail address and shipping information.
Protecting the Personal Data
The Personal Data provided to us is saved in a secure environment and is stored on our servers to make it easier to use our services on return visits. All data collected is entered into our private multi-layered firewall protected UNIX server system for processing in-house or via a third party affiliate and is secured in a locked and restricted area with backups created daily. Further backups of data are created and stored off site within fireproof safety deposit boxes.
Information collected by Global Recognition Inc. on the Site is stored in a secured server provided by our IT third-party affiliate who server network is secured by multiple layers of firewalls via a Primary Firewall - a hardware firewall router and a Secondary Firewall – a software firewalls on all computers storing any type of business data. The sales records entered and processed within the system at Global Recognition are password protected, stored
The Server Security entails: General Servers: (shared and dedicated hosting options); a Restricted Access Datacenter (An Affinity Data Center that is secured, temperature controlled, etc.); a Redundant Network Connection to maintain constant uptime on servers; Anti Hacker Tools on all servers; Hacker Monitoring Tools on all servers; Anti-Virus Protection and Software Security; General Back Ups – (Guaranteed full back up are also available and will incur additional cost to client) and MS SQL back bone for secure data storage for applications
Thus to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information, we will employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. Global Recognition Inc. and it’s third party affiliate, IT Works LLC, has created a secure environment for credit card usage if applicable and uses Secure Socket Layer technology to encrypt all personal information provided including, credit card information if applicable and name and address to prevent information from being read during transmission over the internet.
How We Use the Information We Collect
Global Recognition Inc. uses the Personal Data we collect to provide you or the intended recipient with the products and services purchased or redeemed on the Site, and to build features that will make the services available on the Site easier to use. This includes faster purchase or redemption requires better customer support and timely notice of new services and special offers if applicable.
From time to time, Global Recognition Inc, may contact you to request feedback on your experience using the Site as depicted in the initial setup of the Site for your organization if applicable to your program or to offer special savings or promotions as a Site user. If such service is provided to you via your request, you or the intended recipients of such notices have the ability to opt-out from receiving them by replying to a provided hyperlink.
Sharing Your Personal Data
Global Recognition Inc. does not sell or rent your Personal Data to anyone and it is always stored and secured. For implementation of certain services for a redemption program, we may share your Personal Data with one of our third party partners listed as IT Works LLC and Partners For Incentives herein known as “PFI”, or require that you transact directly with a third party partner. PFI (Partners For Incentives) Policy
Information received directly from our direct distributors is used only to administer their clientele’s program. We do not mine or offer for sale any information received for purposes of administering and/or fulfilling a program. PFI maintains appropriate procedures to protect the security of your information. All PFI employees receive training and understand the importance of confidentiality. All employees are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement as a condition of employment. All of PFI’s system files are backed up on a daily basis and stored off-site and PFI has a special router firewall for security purposes. We do not disclose information such as what routers we use or what software we use, as that is the information someone would be able to use to access our system and would breach all said security statements and policies thereof.

Global Recognition Inc. Cookie/Security Policy
To serve our clientele in the most secure method possible we do not use “cookie” technology, unsecured client based text files, to store a user’s private personal information. All private and personal information is stored on our highly secure servers and is never stored permanently on a client’s computer. This additional security measure adds another level of privacy protection for the user’s computer protecting against spy ware programs, viruses, etc.
Amendments to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was posted on July 1, 2005. Global Recognition Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. If there is material changes to this Privacy Policy, Global Recognition Inc. will abide by the terms described in this Privacy Policy at the time you provided us with your information. Global Recognition Inc. will also prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change.
A Special Note About Children
Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to use any services on our Site.
